Hot Dog

Okay this picture made me at first go awwww, then I got really hungry. Lookie at the doggie on a bun! I wonder if it would be the same if there were a kitty on a taco. Anyway, it’s so flippin cute. Normally I do not like these types of dogs, they annoy me, yeah that’s right a whole breed of dog that annoys me from just looking the way they look. But how could you not like this sweet little thing? Stacie 1-888-430-2010

The Moon And The Sky

One of my favorite music artists ever is Sade. Not only do I think she is absolutely beautiful but her voice is simply angelic. She has a new CD out, and I am in love with it. My favorite song off the new CD is The Moon and The Sky, I have been looping it all day today so far, and I have been up now for about, oh over an hour or so. It’s relaxing and just beautiful music all around. If you are looking for something to just zone out too, you should get some of the tunes off this CD, it’s amazing. Stacie 1-888-430-2010

Kisses And Hugs

I was trying to find out where this comes from. The use of X and O’s to signify Hugs and Kisses, and so far I have come up with this: The REAL definition behind X’s and O’s is this The first mention in literature of XXX for kisses at the bottom of a letter was in 1901, according to the Oxford English Dictionary. The X itself is very old. The custom goes back to the early Christian era, when a cross mark or “X” was the same as a sworn oath. The cross referred to the cross of Calvary and the first letter of the Greek word for Christ, Xristos. Even as little as a hundred and fifty years ago, not many people could read or write. The “X” at the bottom of a document took the place of a signature. They would kiss the “X” as a crucifix or bible was kissed to emphasize the importance of the mark. It was this practice that lead to the “X” representing a kiss. O is an American thing and represents the arms wrapping around someone. Pretty nice don’t you think? Stacie 1-888-430-2010

Nursery Rhymes

Sometimes when I get a call I am asked to repeat Nursery Rhymes or read Stories to the abies and sissys. I have to say, I really enjoy doing this. It gives the feeling of me being there, holding them on my lap, or sitting up right on the bed as they lay there sucking on their paci and holding their favorite stuffed toy. Do you have a favorite Nursery Rhyme that you like to hear? Give me a call and we can have some special time together before you go ni ni. Hugs and Kisses, Stacie 1-888-430-2010
