Bells Across the Snow

First pupil: Christmas, merry Christmas! Is it really come again? With its memories and greetings, With its joys and with its pain There’s a minor in the carol, And a shadow in the light, And a spray of cypress twining With the holly wreath tonight. And the hush is never broken By laughter, light and low, As we listen in the starlight To the “bells across the snow.” Second pupil: Christmas, merry Christmas! ‘Tis not so very long Since other voices blended With the carol and the song! If we could but hear them singing As they are singing now, If we could but see the radiance Of the crown on each dear brow; There would be no sigh to smother, No hidden tear to flow, As we listen in the starlight To the “bells across the snow.” Third pupil: O Christmas, merry Christmas! This never more can be; We cannot bring again the days Of our unshadowed glee. But Christmas, happy Christmas, Sweet herald of good will, With holy songs of glory, Brings holy gladness still. For peace and hope may brighten, And patient love may glow, As we listen in the starlight To the “bells across the snow.” —F.R. Havergal Lily

Sharing

Now I know that all you abies out there have been taught to share and not grab toys out of other little ones’ hands.  But I saw this and I thought it made a pretty good case of when NOT to share, lol!  Now I commend these brothers for sharing and all, but I think there is a point when you have got to put brotherly love aside and say, “get your own!”, don’t ya think?? Bare or Hair?

There has been some discussion if ABies should shave from the neck down or not as of late.  I believe that this is a perfect example as to why all you little ones should indeed go bare. The only question now is should one use a blade, clippers, or wax.  Perhaps something a little more permanent – maybe electrolysis or laser treatments?  Me?  I think that I would like to use wax for my babies (and I’m talking about waxing them personally, or at least escorting them to the salon to instruct the technician and to oversee the entire procedure, hehe).  But I think we can all agree, at least in this case, bare is DEFINITELY better then hair! My interesting pic of the week

Now this might make me want to study geography a little more then I did in school. How about my students? Would this peek your interest, make you want a closer look-see? I would imagine the answer to be an astounding YES. So this was my interesting pic of the week. I do love odd and quirky things and enjoy seeing when the other mommies post them so there ya go – My odd pic of the week. But my favorite video of the week is still the Slow Loris that I blogged about else where! I have to watch that video several times a week! Watching him get tickled and his little fist clenched brings a smile to my face and makes my day! Mizz. Rebecca 1 888 430 2010

Water Play

It’s such a gorgeous day outside! I thought we could go outside and I would turn on the sprinkler to play in. We’ll get you down to just your diapy, and you and I can run and jump and play in the sprinkler as it moves from one side to the next – dancing together in the make shift rain as it falls gently around us. I so enjoy watching you have fun and laughing, and nothing is cuter then seeing a heavy diaper hang low on a baby’s tushie! Simply adorable! Won’t you call me so we can play?   Mommy Gina 1-888-430-2010

Rainy afternoon

It sure has been storming a lot in my neck of the woods. Time for some indoor fun and games! I love to color and finger paint with my little ones. Or maybe we’ll make some cookies together. We can play Peek-a-Boo, Itsy Bitsy Spider, and my favorite, This Little Piggy! Now doesn’t that sound like a fun way to spend a rainy afternoon? Mommy Gina 1-888-430-2010
